You must provide a current, valid Oregon DMV Driver's License or ID or the last four digits of your Social Security number. If you have neither, contact your county elections office for instructions.
Our Vote by Mail Process
In 1998, Oregon voters passed a ballot measure providing Vote By Mail. A ballot is sent to all registered voters who are eligible to vote in the election 18 to 14 days prior to the election. Voters can return their ballot by mail or return it to any county election office or designated drop site.
If a mistake is made on a ballot, the voter should completely erase the incorrect mark then mark the correct oval. If a mistake cannot be corrected or a pen was used, you should call your county election office and request a replacement ballot.
A ballot will still be counted if mailed without the secrecy envelope. If a ballot is unsigned, it is returned to the voter. If there isn't enough time to return it by mail, the voter should go their their county election office to sign it.
